Born and raised in Italy, Giacomo holds a bachelor in International Relations and Human Rights and a Master in Diplomacy, obtained Magna cum Laude from the University of Padua. After graduation he took an internship with the Italian Ministry of Education and one with the European External Action Service, working for the European Union Delegation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Currently enrolled in the Master of International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark, he is writing his Master Thesis on the field of Law of the Sea, with specific focus on Land Reclamation in South China Sea.
His main interests are Law of the Sea, Maritime Security, International Business Law and International Trade.
Growing up in the Danish-German border region, Johannes graduated with a B.sc. in European Studies in 2011 and has absolved an internship in Strategic Consulting within the Public Services Sector at Sopra Steria Consulting.
Currently enrolled in the Master of International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark, he is writing his Master Thesis within the field of NGO security.
His main fields of interests are foreign and Security Policy, NGO’s in conflicts, Maritime Security and International Humanitarian Law.
Michael R. Zieniewicz.
Currently enrolled in the MSSc. in International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark, Michael is writing his thesis on the legality of secession, focusing primarily on the self-proclaimed republics of Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Donetsk and Lugansk, third state influence, and the legal and political implications of these republics’ potential recognition.
Michael has previously been employed at the Royal Danish Embassy in Moscow, and is currently working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark in Copenhagen.
